Tanzania and operating in the entire East Africa. We are based in Arusha, Tanzania. We arrange safaris in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda and we offer a range of different packages, including Wildlife safaris, Beach holidays, Gorilla Safaris, Bird Watching Safaris, Chimpanzee trekking, Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru trekking, hiking, Cultural Tours, Guided Nature walks, Air ticketing, Airport transfers, Local Flight reservation, Hotel reservation plus Customized Tours in Tanzania.

All safaris and trekking are guided by local Tanzanian tour guides and our services varies from budget to luxury, depending on which type of holiday you prefer. Meet our Africa Safari Experts

Wanyama African Safari is a team of experienced persons working together for many years, each one of us has a different professional background and speciality in the travel and tourism industry. Hence we have all one thing in common: we stepped in this venture more than five years ago with a passion for wildlife and conservation and became all field guides, well trained with on-site experience. We are totally committed to our clients and we strongly believe that a Wildlife Safari is an experience of a lifetime for our clients and that our mission is to make the most out of it!

All of our staff are trained to the highest standard and our guides have years of experience of guiding on Tanzania Safaris and setting up camping safaris and walking safaris all throughout Southern Tanzania. Every guide is fluent in Kiswahili and English.

Shabani has more than sixteen years of experience in organising perfect African safari holidays in East Africa. He shares a handful traits that set him apart from others: he loves Africa and he had well travelled in Africa, and he is a very good listener.

Shabani believes that to know a destination well, you need to know more than the camp or hotel which may be the little nearby shops, the local artists, and community. “You need to know the right people, because when you need something to happen quickly you better know who to call!” A great travel company keeps a finger on the pulse of destinations and spend several months of every year traveling, building those relationships and keeping up to date.

Alice is making sure all accounts and sales arrangements run according to plan. She was born into a Tanzanian family that loves the wilderness, and most of my childhood holidays were spent in the bush and at the remote wild. Alice lead our sales team at our head quarters. Our sales team understands every aspect about our Africa and Tanzania destinations intimately. We have all had first-hand experience in some way or other: many of us are from Africa, have lived in Africa, have lived in various countries across the globe, been safari guides or worked in Africa and beyond.

Our customized accommodations ranging from budget to luxury enables all travelers to enjoy the same ecosystem and wildlife experiences, but to choose between supreme luxury, deluxe and more budget conscious standards of cuisine, activities, comfort, location and guiding. We offer a range of distinct vacation experiences in Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya.

Operations

Pascalina is making sure all travel arrangements run according to plan and that accommodation, meals and service are satisfactory; and making contact in advance with places to stay or visit to check details and arrangements; and organizing and attending tourism events, conferences, workshops, seminars and exhibitions. Hence, designing flexible tour packages to meet the needs of different clients and booking for Customers reservations.

Our operations and her team are responsible for the operational part and smooth running of each safari. An essential task for our operations team is the slotting of our safari vehicles and guides schedule. Especially in high season this can be very challenging, but feasible for our experienced team. Organizing transfers in and around Arusha, checking camping equipment and vehicles on a regular basis and making sure that they are always in an excellent condition are also part of their daily work routine.
